Happy New Year!

It’s been about 2 1/2 years since my last post so I thought I’d get back into the habit of writing. And it seems that the world has not slowed down one bit. The need to slow down, connect with meaning, and soak up the blessings all around us has never been greater — however, it is even more neglected than when I started this blog over a decade ago. Technology, world events, and the pace of life has overshadowed this need and only those who truly seek it will find it.

Here’s to us sharing that journey,

    Hi Dan,
I used to read your blog and I remember I how much I loved getting lost in all the stories and inspiration. Back in ’13 my old PC crashed and I pulled everything I could, including my internet favorites to an external hard drive. I ended up pulling my immediate needs off that drive onto my new laptop & …zoom zoom zoom – life flew on. You see, I am stuck with one foot in the rat race & one foot fighting for a slower pace. Today I just happen to be using that old external hard drive to pull my personal items off a work computer that I am about to lose since I am losing the job, again! So, I’m sitting here reviewing what’s on the drive when God draws my attention to my old Favorites folder where I see “Intro…..A Slower Pace” & my heart was like — whoa I remember that blog!! I felt like I had just run into an old long lost friend on the street!!! For some reason my link was to a .com address but I was still determined to see if you were out there & I googled away until I found you! 🙂 I was surprised to see you had been away a while but glad to see you popped your head in this new year! ….anyway – the point of all that was just to let you know there is someone out here reading your post & who loved reading your blog. Thanks for all the thoughts, tranquility & laughs you’ve inspired along the way & thank you for sharing your life out here!!
