Stay-cation sunset.….

I missed my Monday post because I was coming off from serving a youth ministry weekend. And I went right into a week of vacation where my folks were visiting from out of state and preparing for our 4th of July celebration — Thunder Over Finchville.

In an effort to keep with my intent on posting Mon, Wed, Fri, I am sharing the beautiful sunset that washed across the sky this evening after a summer storm rolled through.

Another beautiful KY sunset…..

While it is cold out, yesterday warmed up to a balmy 15F. And to tell you the truth — I could actually feel the difference. Today we are expected to hit a high of 35F…..and I will welcome it.

But the cold is not impacting our beautiful country sunsets. Below is the one I grabbed last night with my son.

I arrived to work early after an accountability meeting with one of my anchor points. And as I started going through my morning routine I caught a glimpse of God saying “good morning” to me. It prompted me to go outside and stand in His glory for 5 minutes as it unfolded.

With days that start like this, how can you have a bad day?
